KFC provides its customers with various discounts and promotions, such as those for first responders, military members and veterans, students and senior citizens. Furthermore, they offer a rewards program where customers can earn points with every purchase and redeem them for free food – but please remember these promotions may only apply at certain locations and may have time limits attached.
As part of their effort to assist their employees and families with managing the coronavirus pandemic, many restaurants began providing first responder discounts nationwide to assist employees and families coping with working in dangerous conditions. These discounts typically targeted police officers, firefighters, EMTs as well as military personnel and federal law enforcement agents; in some instances discounts were extended even further such as teachers and students.
KFC provides specials and promotions to its customers that extend far beyond first responder discounts, such as special menu items priced lower for special events like birthdays or anniversaries, as well as offers such as birthday or anniverary offers and coupons that allow customers to save on meals.
KFC also has a rewards program called KFC Rewards that awards customers points with every order they place either in-restaurant or online, redeemable for food and other rewards. Customers can use the KFC app to order products directly for delivery, drive-thru collection or pickup in-restaurant (whether dine-in or takeaway).
