Springfield Armory National Historic Site at STCC campus on Springfield campus recently reported the recovery of 24 marksmanship medals stolen from them by an antique collector who bought them on eBay and were awarded to Milan and Freeman Bull, brothers who worked at Springfield Armory during 1800s as well as competing at marksmanship events around the world. FBI has taken action to recover these medals; civil forfeiture action will likely follow against collector who stole them, hopefully returning them back to Springfield Armory by 2022 when museum hopes for them return.
