How To Get The Corkcicle First Responder Discount

Corkcicle gives first responders a discount on every order through GovX, but its page never prints a percentage. You verify at checkout, the discount applies on its own once GovX clears you, and it doesn’t work on sale items.

Corkcicle’s menus list insulated drinkware such as the Cruiser, Canteen, Commuter Cup and Protein Shaker, plus coolers and bags and a barware shelf that includes a wine chiller and a cocktail shaker. For the person on your list who’s impossible to shop for, a cooler bag and a wine chiller can be a decent gift pairing, and both fall under the same checkout step.

How To Get The Corkcicle First Responder Discount

  1. Put everything you want in your cart first. The page says to have all items in the cart and head to the checkout page.
  2. If you’ve already typed in a discount or promo code, take it off. The page says a code applied before the GovX step stops the GovX discount from applying.
  3. At checkout, click the GovX button and follow the prompt through GovX.
  4. Once you’re verified, the page says the discount automatically applies to your order.

Corkcicle lists First Responders first among the groups it covers, followed by military, medical workers, government employees and teachers.

The Rate And The Verifier

The page says Corkcicle offers a discount on every order and doesn’t say how much it is. You’ll see the amount in your total after GovX verifies you, so look at the cart before you pay instead of expecting a number up front.

ID.me is a different story. ID.me’s own Corkcicle page says it isn’t aware that Corkcicle offers first responder discounts, so GovX at checkout is the route to use.

Using It On Holiday Orders

Corkcicle’s page is clear about two limits: the discount can’t be combined with any other discount codes, and it can’t be used on sale items. It also says the limit is 1 discount code per day, so if verification fails or you end up with a code on your order, you can’t keep trying new ones that day.

The same page lists a 10% welcome code for your first purchase when you sign up for emails, and that code says it can’t be stacked with other discount codes either. That makes it either the welcome code or the GovX discount on a given order, not both. Corkcicle’s page doesn’t mention Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales, so there’s nothing to quote on how the discount treats them.
