First responders are helping to keep our communities safe. Whether they’re physicians and nurses, home-care workers, social workers, or beyond, frontline COVID-19 first responders are putting their lives on the line to help others in need. That’s why #FirstRespondersFirst has teamed up with IHG Hotels & Resorts to provide free accommodation at hotels across the country for front-line COVID-19 first responders, including police, fire, paramedics, EMTs and other emergency personnel.
IHG will help these first responders rest and recharge close to their medical facilities with access to a dedicated VIP reservation service from IHG, carefully matching local needs with nearby hotels. These frontline first responders can choose from nearly 4,000 IHG hotels nationwide, with accommodation costs (up to 50 million IHG Rewards Club points) covered by IHG.
This is a great way for IHG to thank their customers who are helping to keep our communities safe. And it also offers these first responders the chance to enjoy the hotel experience, which is what they’re going to need after a long shift.
