One more limit that catches people: the coupon “cannot be used in conjunction with other percent-off coupons”, so it will not stack on a 20% off sale coupon. Dollar-off coupons and Kohl’s Cash apply first, then the percent-off.

Two things, and neither requires a badge.
Sign up for Kohl’s emails or texts. Kohl’s advertises 15% off for joining either list, open to anyone. That is the same headline number as the military discount, without the Monday and in-store restrictions, which is worth knowing before you plan a trip around a discount you cannot use.
Take cash back on the order. Kohl’s gift cards are carried by Fluz, so you buy the card, then spend it in store or online exactly like cash. Rates move, so check the current one before you buy.
The gift card route stacks with a sale in a way the military coupon does not, because it is not a coupon at all. You are paying with a discounted card rather than asking the register for a percentage.
