When winter rolls around, Waterville Valley becomes its own little world. Just two hours from Boston and nestled amid 42,000 acres of National Forest, it becomes a true mountain paradise. One of only two New Hampshire towns to boast year-round populations, it features an alpine ski area, nine hole golf course, 18 clay tennis courts for playing tennis year-round Corcoran Pond for fishing water park as well as numerous hiking trails – and these attractions only scratch the surface!
Waterville Valley boasts 300 year-round residents, mostly living in condominiums with one to five bedroom layouts, although some standalone homes can also be purchased for just over $200,000. Situated within the White Mountain National Forest, when driving or strolling around this charming pedestrian village you are treated with breathtaking mountain vistas at every turn and corner.

Waterville Valley has ambitious plans for the future, such as building a gondola to connect the town to the ski resort and expanding their 140 acre terrain expansion. Furthermore, they recently added the Tecumseh Express chairlift – one of New Hampshire’s fastest chairlifts!
