Mariner Middle School students will take their studies outside the classroom this semester and into Florida. Seventh-graders from WorldStrides DiscoverNow! will embark on an incredible four-day expedition exploring Florida’s Everglades region through snorkeling in rivers, dissecting sharks, and watching manatees – an experience which “is like taking an overnight field trip on steroids,” said Carly Zych, one of the teachers organizing this experience.
Working at Worldstrides was given below-average ratings across various culture dimensions by 62 employees. Employees gave their leadership a low approval rating and placed Bob Gogel in the Bottom 5% of CEOs at similar-sized companies on Comparably.
Employees rate Worldstrides’ compensation as slightly above average; however, they feel the CEO Rating and Company Culture could use some improvement – putting Worldstrides into the Bottom 15% of comparable sized companies on Comparably. They also give Worldstrides high ratings on PTO/Vacation Policy with many citing sufficient time off from work and being allowed to work while away on vacation.
