Gnarly Nutrition’s own pages offer a military discount through GovX and don’t name first responders, so a first responder discount isn’t confirmed. Its FAQ says to reach out to customer service to start the verification process. What exists for every shopper is cash back through Rakuten, which lists a Gnarly Nutrition store.
Gnarly Nutrition sells sports and everyday nutrition products. Its FAQ names a few of them, including Gnarly Hydrate, Gnarly BCAAs, Gnarly PRE and Gnarly Proteins, in an answer about measuring a scoop when you’ve lost yours, and it says the company is happy to sponsor athletes in a wide range of sports. The store lives at gognarly.com, and the older gnarlynutrition.com address sends you to the same site.
How To Get The Gnarly Nutrition First Responder Discount
There’s no first responder discount to claim from what Gnarly publishes. The FAQ answers “Does Gnarly offer a military discount?” with “We happily provide a discount for the men and women that serve our country. Reach out to our customer service to start the verification process.” The site’s footer has a link labeled Military GovX Discount that goes to GovX’s verification page for the store, and GovX’s own page for Gnarly Nutrition is titled “Gnarly Nutrition Military and First Responder Discount.” Gnarly’s pages say military, not first responders, and none prints a rate, so if you’re counting on a first responder price, ask customer service before you order.
The route that doesn’t depend on that answer is cash back through Rakuten:
- Join Rakuten for free if you don’t have an account.
- Open Gnarly Nutrition’s store page on Rakuten.
- Click Shop Now so Rakuten sends you to Gnarly’s site, then place your order in that same visit.
- Afterward, check your Rakuten account to confirm the order tracked.
What Gnarly’s Own Pages Show
The pages read were the home page, the FAQ, the Our Story page, the refund policy and the shipping policy. The FAQ and the footer link are the only places that mention a service discount. Gnarly’s list of site pages has no military or first responder page, and addresses like /pages/military-discount and /pages/first-responder-discount return the same not-found page as an address made up for the test. The Our Story page loads its text with a script, so it wasn’t readable for this post.
Shipping, Refunds And Your Cash Back
Gnarly’s shipping policy says you can choose standard mail, which takes 3-5 business days, or priority mail, which takes 2-4 business days, and that a one-time checkout order or a subscription over $75 gets free standard shipping. Its refund policy says that if you bought from gognarly.com and aren’t 100% satisfied, the company will provide a full refund as long as less than half of the product has been used and it’s returned within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
That policy shapes your cash back, since a refund can reverse it. Rakuten’s page for the store adds that cash back isn’t available on gift cards or purchases made with gift cards. If you’re not sure you’ll like a flavor, consider a smaller size first, so a return, if you need one, isn’t a problem for your cash back.
What To Watch With The Cash Back
This post doesn’t print a figure, because Rakuten changes its rates. Check the number on Rakuten’s Gnarly Nutrition page the day you order, and start from Rakuten every time you shop. Use one route per order, and look for the purchase in your Rakuten account afterward.
