We couldn’t find an ESPN first responder discount. ID.me says it isn’t aware of one for ESPN+, and the ESPN pages we could read name no first responder offer. Cash back is the route: Rakuten and TopCashback both list ESPN, and Rakuten pays on a first subscription.
ESPN streams live games and studio shows, and Rakuten lists its plans as ESPN. Fluz still lists the service as ESPN+. If you’re signing up for the first time, that’s the moment cash back can apply.
How To Get The ESPN First Responder Discount
There’s no badge-and-code price at ESPN, so cash back is the way to get something back. It works like this:
- Create a free Rakuten account, or sign in if you already have one.
- Open Rakuten’s ESPN page with the button below.
- Click Shop Now, which takes you to ESPN’s sign-up.
- Choose your plan and pay in that same visit, without opening a coupon site in between.
- Read the current cash back figure on Rakuten’s page before you sign up, since it changes.
We don’t print the rate because it moves.
What Rakuten’s Terms Leave Out
Rakuten says Cash Back is only available on first time subscriptions, so this route is for a new sign-up and not for a plan you already have. It also isn’t available on individual Boxing PPV subscriptions or on the purchase or redemption of gift cards, and you’re only eligible for Cash Back after your payment has processed. A gift card for ESPN isn’t the way to earn here.
TopCashback As A Second Option
TopCashback lists ESPN too. Pick one cash back site for the sign-up and read its terms before you click through, since going in through two at once doesn’t earn from both.
Before You Sign Up
Do the whole sign-up in a single sitting: click through from the cash back page, choose your plan and pay without leaving. A coupon code the cash back site doesn’t list can cancel the cash back, so skip the code box unless the portal’s own page shows the code. Compare the final price with what ESPN shows on its own page, and keep the plan and the billing period the same when you do.
Where Fluz Fits
Fluz lists the service as ESPN+ and offers its general virtual card for it, which is a payment card and not an ESPN offer. Rakuten’s first-subscription route is the named one, so start there if you’re new.
