Tenzing Outdoors

How To Get The Tenzing Outdoors First Responder Discount

Tenzing Outdoors runs a Pro Program through Guidefitter, and it names fire, EMS, law enforcement and 911 dispatch. You apply through Guidefitter, and Tenzing doesn’t publish a percentage, so the price you see after you’re approved is what you get.

Tenzing makes hunting packs and accessories. The Pro Program isn’t open to the general public, and membership isn’t guaranteed.

Who Qualifies

The First Responders & Frontline Health Workers group lists law enforcement, retired law enforcement, fire, retired fire, EMS (EMTs, paramedics and RNs), 911 dispatch, search and rescue and journeyman linemen. Military service members, on active duty, in the reserves or who have served, have their own group. Guides, outfitters, conservation group employees and outdoor industry employees apply in other groups.

How The Program Works

Guidefitter runs the verification. Once you’re a verified Insider, you can opt in to individual brand programs like Tenzing’s. Membership in a specific brand’s program isn’t guaranteed, and some brands ask for extra documents. Tenzing, not Guidefitter, decides its eligibility rules, pricing and which products are included.

Breaking the program rules can cost you your membership in any or all of the brand programs, and your Insider status. Guidefitter’s support team answers at 406.540.0225 from 7am to 5pm Mountain time.

Warranty And Returns

Tenzing’s warranty covers manufacturing defects. It’s valid only for the original owner who bought from an authorized retailer. You need the original sales receipt for warranty service, and you have to get a Return Authorization number from customer service at 877-269-8490 before you send anything back. Tampering with the product or having it serviced without authorization voids the warranty.
