How To Get The Blueland First Responder Discount How To Get The Blueland First Responder Discount

Blueland

Student Beans lists an 18% first responder offer on Blueland Starter Kits, and you claim it through a free Beans iD account that verifies your employment. Blueland’s own pages don’t spell the offer out, so every rate in this post comes from Student Beans’ page, and we’ll point out the pieces we couldn’t read.

Blueland sells cleaning products built around refills: its home page describes microplastic-free tablets in industrially compostable packaging, plastic-free refills that “save money, space, and waste,” and starter kits it calls “everything you need to make the switch.” A starter kit is where you’d begin, which is also the product the offer tile names.

How To Get The Blueland First Responder Discount

  1. Open Student Beans’ first responder page for Blueland with the button below.
  2. Find the offer tile. It reads 18% First-Responder with Starter Kits beneath it.
  3. Create a free Beans iD account.
  4. Verify your employment status. The page says this takes 2 mins.
  5. Reveal your code and enter it at checkout.

Add a Starter Kit to the cart first, since that’s the product the tile names.

How Blueland And Student Beans Fit Together

Blueland’s footer has two links, “Students & Grads Discount” and “Community Discount,” and both lead to Student Beans pages. The page we read opens with “We’ve teamed up with Student Beans and Beans iD to offer exclusive discounts to the following groups.” Its group list reads Healthcare, First Responder, Teacher, Military, Parent, Disability, Low-Income and Charity Worker, each with the word Discount after it.

Two things don’t line up, and you should know about both. ID.me’s page for Blueland says it isn’t aware that Blueland offers first responders discounts, so an ID.me badge isn’t the route here. And two addresses we tried on Blueland’s own site for first responders and for military, /pages/first-responders and /pages/military, don’t exist. The Student Beans listing is the only place we found the offer.

What We Couldn’t Read

The Student Beans page has a Terms & Conditions section that wouldn’t open when we tried to read it. That leaves several questions without answers: whether the 18% covers anything besides Starter Kits, whether it’s for new customers only, whether it stacks with Blueland’s other offers, and when it ends. We also didn’t create an account or verify, so we haven’t seen the code work at checkout. Read the terms on your own screen before you commit to a kit.

The page doesn’t spell out which jobs count as a first responder, and it doesn’t mention family members. Beans iD decides that when you verify, so start the check and see.

Q&A

Q: How much does Blueland take off for first responders?
A: Student Beans’ tile reads 18% First-Responder with Starter Kits beneath it.

Q: Do I need an account?
A: Yes, a free Beans iD account. The page walks you through creating one and verifying your employment status.

Q: Does Blueland have its own first responder page?
A: Not that we found. Its footer links to Student Beans, and the two addresses we tried for first responders and military returned a not-found page.

Q: Does it cover refills or bundles?
A: The tile names Starter Kits. Whether refills, bundles or autoship orders qualify isn’t printed where we could read it, so add a kit to the cart and see what the code does with anything else in it.

Q: Is it for new customers only?
A: The terms section wouldn’t open for us, so we can’t say.

Q: Anything else for the house while I’m shopping?
A: Our Target cash back page covers household basics.
