Carowinds sells first responders a discounted one-day ticket through ID.me, online only, for up to six people. The ticket is valid on the selected date, and the page carries one exclusion that matters this time of year: it’s not valid for haunted mazes or The Conjuring: Beyond Fear.
How To Get The Carowinds First Responder Discount
- Open Carowinds’s first responder page with the button below and look at the ticket marked Starting From.
- Choose your date and add your tickets to the cart.
- Log in or register with ID.me when the prompt comes up. The page says it appears after you select your tickets.
- Add up to six tickets for family and friends, then pay online.
- Check the total before you pay. The page lists a processing fee of up to $9.99 plus applicable taxes.
The page is clear that offers must be redeemed online, so buy before you drive in. It also says the discount can’t be combined with any other offers, including sales, and that product offerings change during pass and one-day ticket sales. If the park is running a public sale on the day you want, price both and take the lower total.
What The Ticket Doesn’t Cover
The page says the ticket is not valid for haunted mazes or The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, and it notes that haunted mazes are an additional fee that requires a Haunted Attraction Pass. If the family is coming for the scares in the fall, you’ll need to buy that separately. The page’s add-ons section lists SCarowinds add-ons for the haunted mazes, which is where to look.
A Military Gold Pass is listed higher on the same page, as a separate season pass. The page doesn’t say first responders qualify for it, so treat the single-day ticket as the first responder offer here.
Carowinds’ first responder page now lives on sixflags.com.
