This park boasts the world’s first convertible waterpark with its roof covering over 70,000 square feet of the park, enabling it to remain open even during otherwise inoperable weather. Furthermore, its attractions include high-speed tube slides, free-fall body slides, Texas-sized wave pool and winding lazy rivers – making for an exciting day trip experience!

How tall do I need to be to ride the slides at Typhoon Texas? Riders of small double red slides at Typhoon Texas must be at least 36″ in height while all other rides require riders at least 40″. Children aged under 6 must be supervised by an adult.

Are You Wondering If Typhoon Texas Open Today? Typhoon Texas Waterpark will open for the 2020 summer season on May 29 in Katy (formerly Hawaiian Falls Pflugerville). Season passes purchased for previous years will still be honored at their new location next to Katy Mills Mall.

Typhoon Texas will recognize academic achievements by offering free admission for students who earned three A’s or higher on their 2022-2023 school report cards between Tuesday, May 30 and Friday, June 2. Students must present both their report card and valid ID at the park entrance for admission.
