Embrace Pet Insurance

How To Get The Embrace Pet Insurance First Responder Discount

Embrace Pet Insurance doesn’t list a first responder discount. Its help article on discounts names a 10% multiple pet discount and a 5% military discount, and first responders aren’t mentioned. We also found no cash back page for Embrace, so there’s no code and no named route to give you.

The article is titled “What Discounts Could I Get for My Embrace Policy?” It says discounts are subject to state regulations and may vary by state, and that they’re applied to the accident and illness portion of your policy only. If your policy has other parts, those parts aren’t discounted.

How To Get The Embrace Pet Insurance First Responder Discount

No first responder program turned up, so there’s nothing to claim. This is what we’d do, in order:

  1. Get a quote and ask Embrace whether it has an arrangement for first responders or your department. Nothing public says it does, but asking doesn’t cost anything.
  2. If you’re insuring two or more pets, ask about the multiple pet discount. The article says it’s added automatically to policies with two or more pets.
  3. Price the same pet with other insurers and compare monthly premiums side by side. A discount somewhere else can change which one wins.
  4. If Embrace takes card payments for premiums, which its pages don’t tell us, ask whether a Fluz virtual card would work.

On that last step, the one way to get money back is a Fluz virtual card, a general-purpose payment card that earns cash back on what you spend with it. Fluz says the card works anywhere Mastercard or Visa is accepted and is funded from your Fluz balance or a linked bank account. Fluz’s Embrace page is a generic card page that doesn’t describe pet insurance, so it isn’t an Embrace offer, and the rate moves.

What Embrace’s Article Says

The military discount is for you or someone in your immediate household who is an active or former member of the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy or Coast Guard, and the article says it isn’t available in NY and TN. That discount is written for military households. The article doesn’t mention police, fire, EMS or any other first responder job, and nothing in it points to a first responder qualifying.

We looked for a separate military or first responder page on Embrace’s site and didn’t find one.

What The Cash Back Check Found

Fluz’s Embrace page is a general virtual card page. Rakuten sent us to its home page. TopCashback, Active Junky and Hoopla Doopla returned not-found pages, and MaxRebates redirected to its home page. None of them is an Embrace Pet Insurance cash back page, so we don’t point you to one.

Using It On A Quote

The article prints nothing about sale prices, holiday dates or stacking. The only terms it gives are the ones above: state rules, the accident and illness portion, and the NY and TN exclusion on the military discount. Whatever your quote shows is the price, so read the coverage details before you compare.
