iHerb’s own community discounts page names first responders, and ID.me lists 20% off for U.S. and Canadian first responders. iHerb’s page prints no percentage, so the 20% comes from ID.me’s listing, and it applies to qualifying full-priced items only, with some brands left out.
iHerb is an online shop for health and wellness products, and its footer says it has been dedicated to making them accessible to all since 1996. It handles group discounts through a verification page instead of a public code, which means the discount isn’t something you can find on a coupon list. You verify first, and iHerb gives you a one-use promo code afterward.
How To Get The iHerb First Responder Discount
The footer of iHerb’s site links to a student and community discounts page, and that page says iHerb offers exclusive discounts for verified students and for community members, including military members, teachers, healthcare professionals and first responders. Here’s the route it describes:
- Open iHerb’s student and community discounts page and choose the community group, the one for military members, healthcare professionals and first responders.
- Verify your status through ID.me, the verification option iHerb names for this group. A free ID.me account works if you already have one.
- After approval, you receive an iHerb promo code to use at checkout.
- Add eligible items to your cart, enter the code in the Apply promo code field at checkout, and select Apply before you place the order.
What The 20% Covers, And What It Doesn’t
ID.me’s iHerb listing reads “20% off for U.S. and Canadian First Responders.” iHerb’s own page doesn’t print a number for the community group and says availability may vary by country, verification partner and current offer terms, so treat the figure at checkout as the one that counts.
The discount applies only to qualifying full-priced items. iHerb’s page says some brands, products, sale items and promotional items may be excluded, and ID.me’s listing names excluded brands, among them Solgar, Kyolic, Vital Nutrients, Metagenics and Bluebonnet Nutrition. If your usual brand is on that list, check before you build a cart around the code.
It doesn’t stack. iHerb says these discounts may not be combined with other iHerb offers, promo codes or sales, and that when more than one discount is available it may automatically apply the one with the higher savings. ID.me adds that the promo can’t be combined with item discounts such as Trial Items, Specials! and the Autoship & Save Discount. Each promo code can be used only once unless the offer terms say otherwise, so a second order may need a new verification.
Who Counts, As iHerb Words It
iHerb’s page says the community discount is for verified military members, veterans, healthcare professionals and first responders. It doesn’t define “first responder” or name police, fire or EMS separately, so what ID.me verifies for you is what decides it. ID.me’s listing is for U.S. and Canadian first responders.
Returns And Refunds
iHerb’s returns page says your refund is processed once it receives the items in their original condition, and that if a return is approved you need to send the package back within 14 days. Domestic return labels are free, and international returns aren’t eligible for prepaid labels. A promo code that’s used up on an order you later return can’t be reused, so confirm the order is what you want before you apply it.
