Kendra Scott gives first responders 15% off every day: in a store with a valid photo ID, or online by verifying with ID.me. That’s straight from the brand’s FAQ, which names first responders alongside healthcare workers, teachers and military. The exclusion list is long enough to change what you buy, so read it before you pick a gift.
Kendra Scott’s menu includes Fine Jewelry, its FAQ mentions custom pieces made at the Color Bar, and the page header advertises free shipping on orders of $85 and up, plus free returns. The first responder discount sits in the FAQ under its own heading, and the promotions page repeats it as “Get 15% Off With ID.me.”
How To Get The Kendra Scott First Responder Discount
- In a store, bring a valid photo ID. The FAQ says that’s what the discount needs in person.
- Be the one who’s eligible. The FAQ says the eligible customer must be present at the time of redemption, so a spouse can’t use the discount with your ID.
- Online, verify your eligibility with ID.me. The FAQ says that’s how it works on the website.
- Check the total before you pay. The discount is 15%, so you’ll see it come off eligible items.
The FAQ doesn’t say what a store will check beyond the photo ID, and the promotions page only mentions “ID.me members including military, healthcare workers, teachers and more.” The FAQ is the page that names first responders. If a department ID is in your wallet anyway, carry it.
What The Discount Doesn’t Cover
The FAQ lists exclusions in one long sentence: previous purchases, fine jewelry, sterling items, vermeil items, watches and watch bands, pre-order items, gift sets and layered sets. It goes on to name Custom Cut Elisa Lab Grown diamonds, the Yellow Rose fragrance, apparel, boots, hats and accessories, eyewear, tech and bag accessories, gift card purchases, sales tax and shipping charges. Collaboration lines are named as well, among them Wrangler x Kendra Scott, Dolly x Kendra Scott, the Greek collection, LoveShackFancy x Kendra Scott and Clear Capsule.
Two things about that list. The word “jewelry” also turns up in the middle of it, in a run of collection names, so the sentence is easy to misread. And ID.me’s listing prints its own restrictions, which add anniversary items and a few designer lines the FAQ doesn’t name, such as Emily Travis items and Nasreen Shahi items. When the two don’t match, ask at the register or call customer service at (866) 677-7023 before you build a gift around a particular piece.
Using It On Holiday Orders
Gift sets, layered sets and gift card purchases are all on the exclusion list, so the discount doesn’t help with a boxed set or a gift card. The FAQ doesn’t say whether sale items are excluded, and it doesn’t mention Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales either. What it does say is that the discount can’t be combined with other offers or with a Kendra Gives Back event. If a sale price and the 15% can’t stack, you’ll have to pick the better one at checkout.
