Deals like these offer great savings on a new vehicle, but they come with certain conditions and requirements. Generally, you need to be available to provide assistance at the scene of an emergency like an accident, natural disaster or terrorist attack.

Verifying your status requires a valid badge or ID and evidence of service, such as an employment contract or medical card. Additionally, if you have a spouse, they must prove their spousal status by presenting their marriage certificate.

As part of their effort to protect cars from theft, Hyundai and Kia are offering free steering wheel locks for some of their models. Furthermore, they are offering Compustar glass-break sensor security kits to owners as a further deterrent.

These security upgrades could help deter thieves motivated by social media tutorials from targeting Kias and Hyundai vehicles with USB cables to unlock them.
