Lemonade doesn’t print a first responder discount for pet insurance, so the way to get something back is cash back through TopCashback. TopCashback has a store page for Lemonade Pet Insurance, and its terms say the cash back is awarded on a new valid quote, not on a policy.
Lemonade Pet works on a reimbursement basis, according to its pet page: you pay the vet bill up front, then file a claim in the Lemonade app. The page also describes Lemonade as a public benefit corporation that takes a flat fee on premiums up front before paying claims. If a dog or cat has been waiting on coverage because your shifts leave little room for surprises, the quote is the step that earns the cash back.
How To Get The Lemonade Pet Insurance First Responder Discount
We read Lemonade’s pet page, its FAQ, its pet comparison page and its partners program page. None of them names first responders, military members or veterans. The pet page lists three discounts: 10% for a bundle, 5% for multiple pets and 5% for an annual plan. Here’s the route that does work:
- Join TopCashback, or sign in if you’re a member.
- Open TopCashback’s Lemonade Pet Insurance page and click Get Cash Back. TopCashback says to sign up for free and shop at Lemonade Pet Insurance as normal.
- Start your quote in that same visit.
- Skip any coupon code TopCashback doesn’t list. Its exclusions name a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback.
- If the cash back doesn’t track, file a Missing Cash Back Claim. TopCashback says to do it within 100 days of your order.
Rates change, so check the number on TopCashback’s page on the day you quote. We don’t print it.
What To Know Before You Quote
TopCashback’s terms are narrower than most cash back offers. Cash back is awarded on a new valid quote and not on a policy, and it’s limited to one quote per member. The page says the cash back is provided by TopCashback, not Lemonade Insurance, so questions about it go to TopCashback. TopCashback’s page also lists the states where Lemonade Pet Insurance is available, so check yours before you spend time on a quote.
MaxRebates also has a Lemonade page, headed “Lemonade US Cash Back & Coupon Code.” Its store description talks about Lemonade’s insurance in general, with no mention of pets, and Lemonade’s site menu lists renters, homeowners, car, pet and life insurance. We left it out because we can’t tell that it tracks a pet quote.
Using It On Pet Insurance Quotes
Lemonade’s pages don’t say how its three printed discounts interact with a first responder offer, because there isn’t one. They also don’t print sale prices or holiday dates. Whatever your quote shows is what you’d pay. If a coupon code seems to save you more than the cash back would, remember TopCashback’s exclusion before you apply it.
