West Palm Beach – First responders who work tirelessly to keep us safe deserve a break, which is why Margaritaville at Sea is offering them a complimentary three-day Bahamas cruise as part of their Heroes Sail Free program. Starting Wednesday and running through December 29, 2023, current and former military servicemembers, police, fire, EMS personnel as well as educators can sail free when travelling with a paying guest. More voyages for first responders may also be added later on by the company.
Individuals looking to take advantage of this offer should book through Margaritaville at Sea’s website and, if eligible, will see their Heroes Sail Free fare discount automatically applied when clicking “View Pricing by Guests,” according to the cruise line. It cannot be combined with any other promotion and excludes taxes, fees and port charges as well as interior cabin sailings to Grand Bahama Island from Port of Palm Beach.
The cruise line’s website provides a FAQ page that outlines all of the requirements needed to claim their offer, with discounted cruises subject to availability and verification through GovX ID being mandatory for claim. They note high call volume as they ask those eligible to be patient while trying to book reservations; onboard, there will also be a variety of forms of entertainment such as comedy acts, dueling piano-type shows and two Sail Away parties – so even those without reservations will likely enjoy themselves aboard their ships!
