COVID-19 presented many challenges, yet Melissa says the restaurant gained from it as well. She recalls how her Team Members set up socially distant tables outside for police officers ordering takeout orders during the pandemic in order to show our appreciation and show our thanks for their service and sacrifice, she says. “This was our way of showing our thanks.”
McGarry says they expect the restaurant to open within a year or so, depending on its progress with renovations and permits from Greensboro for extensive upgrades to their 8,100-square foot facility. Once approved, this would give them the chance to update exterior appearance as well as make cosmetic enhancements.
