Fit Foodie Meals gives verified first responders up to 25% off through GovX ID, and it’s a Texas business, so the discount is for pickup or delivery in the San Antonio area or shipping within Texas. You verify once, get a single-use code, and enter it at checkout. If you’re outside Texas, the site doesn’t list a way to order, so this one is for Texans.
Fit Foodie Meals makes ready-to-eat, chef-prepared meals for people on the go in San Antonio, from a location near Blanco and West Ave. Its site says the meals are made fresh every Sunday and are ready to eat all week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snack time. For a first responder working rotating shifts, having the week’s food made before Monday starts is a real change from deciding what’s for dinner at the end of a long one.
How To Get The Fit Foodie Meals First Responder Discount
The discount runs through GovX ID, not through a Fit Foodie account. On the store’s GovX page you click the button to claim your discount, and you’ll be asked to verify your affiliation with GovX ID. The page says verification is real-time and secure, and if you already have a GovX ID account you can just log in. After you verify, you’ll receive a single-use discount code to apply at checkout, and the page tells you to copy it before you leave.
The page names first responders including law enforcement, fire, and EMS among the groups the offer is eligible for. Current and former U.S. military, military spouses and dependents, federal, state and local government employees, and teachers are on the same list. For future purchases you log in with your GovX ID to get a new code, and there’s a limit of one discount code per day.
Where It Works And When Meals Arrive
Fit Foodie Meals’ service area page says it’s serving the Greater San Antonio area through local courier delivery as well as pickup, and all of Texas through UPS. Local pickup and delivery happen every Sunday, and meals shipped around Texas typically arrive Tuesday at the latest, according to the same page. The site lists no shipping outside Texas.
The ordering pages carry a note worth reading before you fill a cart: meals come as is, no substitutions are possible, and you can edit your cart if you need to. The offer is worded as up to 25%, and the page doesn’t break the number down by item, so the percentage at checkout is the one to trust. If something looks off with the code, the store lists a phone number for calls or texts at (210) 901-8350.
