Ubiquiti 🚫

Ubiquiti’s own pages name no first responder discount, and none of the cash back partners LifeSaver Savings works with carries it, so there’s nothing to claim. The one way to earn something back on an order is a general-purpose Fluz virtual card, and that’s a payment card rather than a Ubiquiti offer.

Ubiquiti makes UniFi, a line of networking, camera security and door access gear. Its home page sums up the pitch as “No licenses. No subscriptions.” and describes UniFi as built for “organizations and integrators scaling across countless locations,” with a list of industries that starts with Education, Hospitality and Enterprise Office. Individuals can still buy. The US store at store.ui.com lists cloud gateways, switches, WiFi, physical security and door access, and it carries home-sized pieces such as the Doorbell Lite, which it describes as a “Compact PoE video doorbell with two-way audio and versatile mounting options,” along with a battery-powered smoke and CO alarm.

How To Get The Ubiquiti First Responder Discount

There isn’t one to enroll in. Ubiquiti’s home page and its US store page carry no first responder, military or community offer, and the addresses ui.com/military and ui.com/first-responders each lead to a Not Found page, the same page you get for an address that doesn’t exist. ID.me has no Ubiquiti storefront, GovX has no Ubiquiti page, and the first responder directory on VerifyPass doesn’t list it. Ubiquiti’s help center sits behind a browser check that blocks automated readers, so it wasn’t read. What this page rests on is the home page, the store, the store terms and the program addresses above.

If you still want something back on a Ubiquiti order, the option left is a Fluz virtual card. Fluz describes it as a digital-only payment card with its own card number, funded from your Fluz balance or a linked bank account and usable anywhere Mastercard or Visa is accepted, including online. Fluz does have a Ubiquiti page, but it’s the general card listing and not an offer built for Ubiquiti, and Fluz says offers are subject to change, so read the current figure there before you count on anything. You’ll need to verify your Fluz account and link a bank account before you create the card.

What The Cash Back Check Found

The cash back partners on LifeSaver Savings were checked for Ubiquiti. Rakuten’s address for Ubiquiti shows only its generic home page, which is how Rakuten answers when it doesn’t carry a store. TopCashback, Active Junky, Price.com and Hoopla Doopla have no Ubiquiti page, MaxRebates doesn’t carry it, and Shoptastic doesn’t list it. That’s why this page is filed as unavailable instead of as a cash back post.

Before You Order From Ubiquiti

Ubiquiti’s store terms are worth reading, because there’s no discount to cushion them. Any unopened product bought directly from the stores can be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase with a valid proof of purchase. An opened product has to come back within 14 days of purchase, and a 15% restocking fee may be applied. Products are non-refundable if they’re damaged, abused or missing any accessories, and products from the Early Access section of the store aren’t eligible for refunds. You’re responsible for the shipping on a return. The terms also say Ubiquiti sells to end users only and can refuse or cancel an order it suspects is for resale, and that prices can change at any time without notice.

If you buy from a third-party retailer instead, the store terms say each retailer has its own returns policy, so check it before you order.

If You Want A First Responder Discount On Security Gear

Other camera and doorbell brands do run programs for people in your line of work. Arlo runs one through ID.me, Ring runs one through VerifyPass, and Google gives first responders a code that covers Nest cameras, doorbells and thermostats. Each has its own post, with the exclusions spelled out: see the Arlo first responder discount, the Ring first responder discount and the Google Nest first responder discount.
