Gourmet Gift Baskets offers first responders a discount through ID.me, and ID.me lists it at 20% off. Gourmet Gift Baskets doesn’t post a percentage on its own discount page, so check the cart total before you order.
You verify on ID.me’s site, not in a form on the basket company’s page. The company says it has partnered with ID.me so verified shoppers can quickly confirm their affiliation and save on its gifts, which is handy if you’re sending baskets to a few different people.
How To Get The Gourmet Gift Baskets First Responder Discount
- Open the company’s discount page with the button below.
- Click the ID.me button, then choose the Individual signup when you land on ID.me’s site.
- Follow ID.me’s prompts to finish verifying. If ID.me asks which group you belong to, look for its First Responders line.
- Go back to GourmetGiftBaskets.com. The discount is applied automatically, or you’ll get a discount code to enter at checkout.
- Click the verify button again on every shopping trip. You need to do it each time to receive your discount.
Check the total before you pay, and if the 20% isn’t there, stop and re-run the verification before you place the order.
Who Qualifies
The page’s verification choices read Military, Student, Teacher or Medical Provider. There’s no separate heading for police, firefighters or EMS. First responders are named inside the medical professionals paragraph, which says that a nurse, first responder or medical doctor can qualify.
So if you scroll the page looking for the word firefighter and don’t find it, you haven’t missed anything. You’re on the right page, and the wording that covers you sits under another group’s heading. ID.me’s store listing for Gourmet Gift Baskets has its own First Responders line, which is where the 20% comes from. Neither page lists job titles or mentions family members, so if you’re a dispatcher or a corrections officer, ask ID.me or the company before you plan a big order around it.
Sales And Stacking
Gourmet Gift Baskets doesn’t say whether the discount works on marked-down items or alongside another offer, and it doesn’t mention Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales. Its terms say the validity of any coupon or discount can change at any time without notice.
None of that is a no. It means nobody has promised you the 20% will stack on top of a sale price. Build your basket, apply the verified discount, and read the total before you pay. If you’re shipping a gift to family across the country, that’s also the moment to confirm the delivery details match what you meant to order.
