Owlet

How To Get The Owlet First Responder Discount

We couldn’t find an Owlet first responder discount. Owlet’s help center has no discount article, and ID.me says it isn’t aware of an offer. What does check out is cash back through Rakuten, which has an Owlet store page, with MaxRebates and TopCashback as backups. We’d rather tell you that plainly than point you at a code that doesn’t exist.

Owlet’s home page is titled “Owlet Baby Monitor” and lists the Dream Sock, the Dream Duo and the Owlet One in its shop menu. If you’re shopping for a new parent, or you are one, it’s the kind of single purchase where cash back is worth setting up before you click Buy.

How To Get The Owlet First Responder Discount

Owlet’s help center has a search box, and a search for “discount” returns no results. Owlet’s /military-discount address returns a not-found page, and so does a made-up address we used as a control, so those pages are real, not a quirk of the site. ID.me says it isn’t aware that Owlet offers first responders discounts. Without a program to enroll in, the route that works is cash back:

  1. Create a free Rakuten account, or sign in if you already have one.
  2. Open Rakuten’s Owlet store page and click Shop Now, which takes you to Owlet’s site.
  3. Choose your monitor or accessories in that same visit and check out as usual.
  4. Check the cash back figure on Rakuten’s page before you order, since it moves.

Rakuten is the first partner on our list with an Owlet page, so it’s the one we point you to. We don’t print a rate because the number changes.

If Another Site Is Your Habit

MaxRebates has a store page titled “Owlet Rebates,” TopCashback has one headed “Owlet Cash Back Offers & Discounts,” and Hoopla has an Owlet Baby Care page. Active Junky returned a not-found page for Owlet when we looked. TopCashback adds two rules worth knowing: to be eligible on all products you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart, and cash back is calculated only on the item price, not on taxes, shipping or other fees.

Using It On Holiday Orders

Owlet’s pages don’t print anything about sale items, Black Friday or Cyber Monday, so whatever you see at checkout is what applies. The cash back sites are specific about what breaks their credit. TopCashback lists use of coupon codes as an exclusion for Owlet. MaxRebates says coupon codes from other sites may void cash back, and that returning or canceling part or all of an order may too. Keep that in mind before you send any part of a gift order back.

Owlet’s shop menu includes a gift card. Rakuten’s Owlet page says cash back isn’t available on the purchase or redemption of gift cards, so for a gift, buy the monitor itself through the cash back link. TopCashback’s page also says rates may vary depending on the day or time of year, so look at the number on the day you buy.

Q&A

Q: Does Owlet have a first responder discount?
A: We couldn’t confirm one. Its help center has no discount article, and ID.me says it isn’t aware of an offer.

Q: Which cash back sites carry Owlet?
A: Rakuten, MaxRebates, TopCashback and Hoopla each have an Owlet page. Active Junky didn’t.

Q: Does a cash back click change what I pay Owlet?
A: TopCashback’s page says cash back is calculated on the item price, and that it doesn’t include taxes, shipping or other fees. Your cart shows the price.

Q: Can I use a promo code along with cash back?
A: Not reliably. MaxRebates and TopCashback both treat outside coupon codes as something that can void or exclude cash back.

Q: Is there another baby monitor on your site?
A: Yes. See our Nanit first responder discount page.
