How To Get The Regal Cinemas First Responder Discount How To Get The Regal Cinemas First Responder Discount

Regal Cinemas 💵

We couldn’t confirm a first responder discount at Regal, and the ID.me page that lists one doesn’t say what the saving is. What does check out is a Regal gift card bought through Fluz, which lists a Regal Cinemas offer with cash back on top.

Regal is the chain with the big recliners and the premium screens: Fluz’s page for the store mentions IMAX, RPX, 4DX and ScreenX. If you’re trying to get the kids to a movie on your day off without paying full price at the counter, a card you’ve already earned something back on is the straightest way we found to do it.

How To Get The Regal Cinemas First Responder Discount

Regal’s website blocks automated readers, so we opened its home page in a regular browser. The links that carry offers wording were Promos, film promotions, gifting offers and Help. None of them is a first responder, military or community discount. One link, Discount Tickets, goes to a third-party ticket seller, which is a separate company from Regal, so we left it alone. Here is the route that does work:

  1. Create a free Fluz account, or sign in if you already have one.
  2. Open Fluz’s Regal Cinemas page, using the button below.
  3. Buy a Regal e-gift card there. Fluz’s page says the cash back comes from buying the card, and that the cards are redeemable in-store and online.
  4. Pay for your tickets or snacks with the card, online or at the theater.

Fluz is first on our list of cash back partners, and it’s the one with a named Regal offer, so it’s where we point you. We don’t print a rate because the figure moves. Read the current one on Fluz’s page before you buy, and only load the card with what you expect to spend.

What ID.me’s Listing Says, And What It Doesn’t

ID.me’s page for Regal has a line that reads “Savings for First Responders” and nothing else: no percentage, no dollar amount, no ticket type. The same kind of line is printed for every group the page lists, so it reads like a standard store listing and not an offer written for police, fire and EMS. ID.me’s answer page for the question does say Regal has a first responders discount and/or cash back offer, but the store page behind it never names a discount you could put a price on. ID.me also notes that deals can change at any time based on the store.

Without an amount, an offer we can’t describe isn’t one we can call a program. If you’ve seen a first responder price at a Regal box office near you, that’s a local decision we can’t confirm from here, and it’s worth asking about at the counter.

Other Places That Carry Regal

MaxRebates also has a Regal Cinemas store page, so if you already use it, compare its figure with Fluz’s on the day you buy and take the higher one. TopCashback, Active Junky and Hoopla didn’t have a Regal page when we looked, and Rakuten only showed its home page. Use one route per purchase, and don’t click through a second site partway through checkout.

Q&A

Q: Does Regal have a first responder discount?
A: We couldn’t confirm one. Regal’s home page links no first responder offer, and ID.me’s listing names the group without an amount.

Q: What does “Savings for First Responders” on ID.me mean?
A: ID.me prints that line next to every group on the page and gives no figure, so we can’t tell you what you’d save.

Q: How does the cash back work?
A: You buy a Regal e-gift card through Fluz and earn cash back on the purchase. The card works in-store and online.

Q: Why don’t you print the cash back rate?
A: It changes, so the number on Fluz’s page that day is the one that counts.

Q: Is there another theater chain with a first responder listing?
A: ID.me lists AMC with a percentage. See our AMC Theatres first responder discount page.
