Some of the biggest names in entertainment, from theme parks to aquariums to movie theaters, have a real first responder offer. Others have nothing of the kind, and a few that look like deals turn out to be ended promotions.

Theme Parks That Salute First Responders
Walt Disney World & Disneyland
Disney’s own special offers page doesn’t list a first responder deal. ID.me’s store pages do: the Walt Disney World listing says first responders save up to $80, and the Disneyland listing says up to $65 on multi-day tickets. Neither listing says what the savings come off, so compare the total with Disney’s price for the same dates before you buy. Our pages for Walt Disney World and Disneyland walk through it.
Universal Studios (Orlando & Hollywood)
Both Universal parks have ID.me listings for first responders. The Orlando listing says first responders buy 3 days and get 2 days free, and the Hollywood listing says buy a day, get a second day free. Universal’s own pages didn’t load readable text for us, so read the terms after you sign in to ID.me. See Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica and Sesame Place
These parks have posted first responder offers, and most of them have ended. SeaWorld Orlando’s page says “This offer has ended,” San Antonio’s ran through 9/1, and San Diego’s visit-by date is from an earlier year. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s free ticket ran 5/17 through 5/23, and Aquatica Orlando’s page says its offer has ended. Waves of Honor, the program these parks advertise, is for the U.S. armed services, not first responders.

LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds
LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND New York both print free entry for first responders for visits from 10/1 through 11/30, plus half off tickets for up to six guests. LEGOLAND California’s page is written for military and veterans and doesn’t name first responders. Merlin’s SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds attractions in Orlando have free first responder entry for the same dates. Start with LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE Orlando and Madame Tussauds Orlando.
Water Parks
Raging Waters in San Dimas, California, takes $15 off the in-park price for military and first responders, and only when you buy at the park. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor parks sell first responder tickets online through ID.me, though several show Coming Soon right now, and Schlitterbahn has separate offers at New Braunfels and Galveston.
Indoor Fun: Bowling, Arcades & Trampoline Parks
Main Event
Main Event’s own pages don’t list a first responder discount, and we couldn’t confirm any percentage. Gift cards through Fluz earn cash back, and our Main Event page has the steps. Prices and specials vary by center.
Dave & Buster’s
Dave & Buster’s own specials page lists 15% off food and drinks with a valid military or first responder ID, for the ID holder and up to 4 guests, on food and non-alcoholic beverages only. It says nothing about Power Cards. Our Dave & Buster’s page has the details.
Shows, Dinner Attractions & Tickets
Medieval Times lists a military page and no first responder offer. Dolly Parton’s Stampede and Pirates Voyage both offer a military rate by phone and name no first responders. Meow Wolf lists military, local and SNAP offers. Monster Jam lists no first responder discount we could read, and Disney On Ice doesn’t either. For tickets, Vivid Seats has an ID.me listing for 10% off, up to $30 per order.
Sky Zone & Urban Air
Sky Zone is franchised, so discounts vary by location. Its Charleston park lists $5 off any standard pass for military and first responders, and Greensboro lists a first responder discount during open jump hours. Urban Air’s own pages name no first responder discount, and its coupon codes may not be valid at every park. Read Sky Zone and Urban Air before you call your local park.
Movie Theater Discounts
AMC Theatres
AMC’s own Offers page doesn’t mention first responders. ID.me’s AMC listing says first responders save up to 25%, which is ID.me’s number and not AMC’s, so confirm the price in your cart. AMC Theatres covers how to check it.
Regal Cinemas
Regal’s home page links no first responder offer. ID.me’s listing reads “Savings for First Responders” with no amount, so it isn’t a discount we can describe. A Regal gift card through Fluz earns cash back, and our Regal page has the steps.
Cinemark
Cinemark’s discounts page names student, senior and military discounts and no first responder discount. Cinemark lists its everyday deals, like Discount Tuesdays, and a gift card route that earns cash back.
Zoos, Aquariums & Museums That Give Back
San Diego Zoo
The zoo’s own pages we read name no first responder discount. ID.me’s San Diego Zoo listing says first responders save 10%. We found no free-admission weeks on any page we read. See San Diego Zoo.
Georgia Aquarium (Atlanta)
Georgia Aquarium’s own pages describe discounts for military guests only, and its Military Appreciation Days have no dates on the calendar right now. “Military Mondays” is a military offer on ID.me, not a first responder one. Georgia Aquarium has the cheaper ways in that anyone can use.
Zoos and Aquariums With a Real First Responder Offer
- Mystic Aquarium: free general admission for police, fire and EMT workers, with a badge, and $10 off for household family
- Perot Museum in Dallas: free general admission for law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, redeemed at the Box Office
- Cincinnati Zoo: $5 off admission with a fire or police ID
- Zoo Miami: $3 off for police officers and firefighters and up to five more guests
- OKC Zoo: free admission during its First Responders Discount Days, which ran 2/1 through 2/14 last time
- Bronx Zoo: ID.me lists 17% off, while the zoo’s own FAQ names military only

Boston Children’s Museum’s savings page names military and veterans only. The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia lists a Military/Firefighter/Police admission price on its pricing page. Check each museum’s own Plan Your Visit page before you go.

Six Flags Theme Parks
Six Flags parks sell discounted one-day tickets to first responders through ID.me, up to six at a time, online only. Each park has its own page and its own price, and the price changes with the date you pick. The former Cedar Fair parks now sell through the Six Flags site too. Start with Six Flags, then see Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Carowinds, Knott’s Berry Farm and Dorney Park.
Local Fairs and County Events
Each fair sets its own tickets and offers. ID.me’s LA County Fair listing says first responders save 45% when they visit the first two weeks, and the OC Fair’s own pages that we could read name no first responder offer. Where to Find and Redeem These Discounts
If you want to avoid the guessing game, start with these helpful resources:
- ID.me – A hub for first responder verification. Many attraction partners use it, and some list only a general offer for every group, so read the terms before you buy.
- GovX – Lists member prices from some attractions and ticket sellers. It verifies once, and each brand sets its own terms.
- Call directly – Even if a deal isn’t advertised, ask guest services what ID they’d want to see. Franchised parks often set their own rates.
Extra Tips for Family-Friendly Fun on a Budget
- Travel in the off-season – You’ll often find lower ticket prices and smaller crowds.
