How To Get The Medieval Times First Responder Discount

Medieval Times doesn’t list a first responder discount. The one group offer on its military page is for the armed forces and their families, and nothing there names police, fire or EMS. So there’s no badge-and-code deal to point you to, and we’d rather say so than send you hunting for one.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament runs castles in Atlanta, Baltimore, Buena Park, Chicago, Dallas, Lyndhurst, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Scottsdale and Toronto. The site describes the show this way: the top knights of the kingdom battle to determine one victor to protect the throne, and the show is the whole evening.

How To Get The Medieval Times First Responder Discount

There’s no first responder program to claim, so this is the order that gets you the lowest price we can point to:

  1. Open the Planning & Coupons page for the castle you’ll visit. The FAQ says current promotions, if there are any, are posted on the Planning and Offers page for your castle.
  2. Sign up for the Queen’s Court emails on the site. The page says members get special coupons, birthday surprises and more.
  3. Look at the show times before you choose. The ticket picker says coupons aren’t valid for shows marked with an asterisk, so a coupon can rule out the Saturday night you wanted.
  4. If you’re bringing a department or a crowd, use the Groups & Celebrations form. The FAQ says it handles special ticket pricing for groups of 15 or more.
  5. Compare whatever you’re quoted with the regular price for your date before you pay.

If you end up paying full price and want something back, the one route to money back is a Fluz virtual card, a general-purpose card that earns cash back on whatever you pay with it. Fluz’s Medieval Times page is that general card and not a Medieval Times offer, and the rate it earns moves.

What The Military Page Says

Medieval Times’ military page says the company is honored to salute the armed forces and their families with exclusive offers and discounted tickets. It lists two routes: tickets sold at participating military bases in the United States, which come with a free Royalty upgrade on base purchases only, and discounted rates through a partnership with ID.me and Canadian Forces. Both are written for service members. If you served before you became a first responder, that’s the page to use, and ID.me will check your military status there.

The page never mentions police officers, firefighters, EMTs or paramedics, so showing a badge at the box office isn’t the same thing and the page doesn’t say it would work.

What ID.me And GovX Show

ID.me has a Medieval Times store page, and the line on it reads “Discounted Tickets for Military.” That’s a military listing, so it doesn’t give a first responder anything to claim. GovX has a Medieval Times storefront too. We opened it in a regular browser, and it reads “Save on Medieval Times tickets from Select Locations” without naming any group, so we can’t call it a first responder offer either.

Medieval Times’ site answers made-up addresses with its home page, so we couldn’t test for a hidden first responder page the way we do on other sites. That’s why this says we found none, not that none exists. A castle could still do something local, and a call to your castle costs nothing.

What The Cash Back Check Found

Fluz has a page for Medieval Times, but it’s the general virtual card page, not a Medieval Times offer, Rakuten returns its generic homepage for Medieval Times, and TopCashback, Active Junky and Hoopla Doopla return not-found pages. MaxRebates’ search for Medieval Times returns no store, though MaxRebates serves its home page for any store name it doesn’t carry, so that only rules out the names we tried. Price.com’s store list has no Medieval Times page either. With no named cash back offer at the sites checked, this page is filed as unavailable.
