First responders and healthcare workers on the front lines in combatting coronavirus outbreaks can now find relief at participating BP and Amoco gas stations with 50 cents off per gallon discounts, valid until April 30. Healthcare professionals can claim codes online before entering them at the pump – these offer can also be claimed online by first responders and healthcare workers themselves.

Drivers in Temperance saw some relief from high gas prices over the weekend as two local stations went head to head to see which could offer the lowest price. One station reduced its prices, prompting another Sunoco owner to reduce her own. And now a BP station owner is trying to outdo even that by offering lower gas prices than his competitor.

Krispy Kreme says their donut giveaway is simply their way of showing their appreciation to those working to combat the pandemic and keep people safe, including healthcare workers, first responders and law enforcement officers. Many companies have followed Krispy Kreme in showing their thanks: Krispy Kreme offers one dozen donuts free to any healthcare worker with ID; McDonald’s gives out “thank you meals” to police officers, firefighters and paramedics as well.

BPme rewards members can now enjoy five cents off per gallon, while essential personnel can get an additional ten cent discount by fueling within 60 days of activating their card. Click here for more details.
