Portland — “Disney on Ice” brings some of the classic Disney stories to life on the ice when it makes its return to Cumberland County Civic Center. Reunite with your favorite characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck while they enact timeless tales such as “The Princess and the Frog”, “Aladdin” and “Tinker Bell”. Meet fearless Moana and demigod Maui as they sail towards uncharted territory – don’t miss Olaf as Olaf stands in support of Anna and Elsa to protect their kingdom!
This show offers both classic and modern tales, including classic movies “Finding Dory” and “Inside Out.” To bring these tales alive, figure skating performances are combined with eye-catching costumes and stunning set designs to tell their captivating stories.
Tickets to this show are currently on sale and Duke employees can take advantage of discounts through PERQS (requiring a NetID and password to enroll), for opening night (December 8) as well as additional performances on December 9, 10, 11 and 14.

If you are taking young children to see Disney on Ice, be sure to prepare them for the long wait by providing snacks and drinks as well as something fun – maybe a Cars pennant or Tinker Bell flower cap would do nicely as a reminder of the event and may help divert any potential meltdowns at the parking lot!
