First responders perform a hard and dangerous job that saves lives; to show our appreciation, restaurants such as Hooters offer special perks and discounts for them on certain days – like National First Responders Day on October 28. Recently, Chipotle joined forces with NASCAR driver Greg Biffle to host National First Responders Day race at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. Biffle has extensive experience at Darlington, having earned two Sprint Cup wins and led 718 laps on its 1.366-mile circuit.

Krispy Kreme is offering all active first responders, such as law enforcement officers, nurses, EMS workers and firefighters, who wear or display their badge or uniform a complimentary doughnut and coffee at select locations on October 28 only.
