How To Get The Jared First Responder Discount How To Get The Jared First Responder Discount

Jared 💵

Jared’s own discount page is written for military shoppers, and ID.me says it isn’t aware that Jared offers first responders a discount. Rakuten and TopCashback both carry Jared, so a ring, a watch or an anniversary gift can still earn something back.

Jared’s page for its discount program reads “Take 10%” and tells shoppers to click below to verify their military status. It carries a note that exclusions apply, and that’s all the text on it. Police, fire and EMS aren’t mentioned there or anywhere else on the Jared pages we read. ID.me’s page for Jared lists the offer as 10% off for Military, and its separate first responder page says it isn’t aware that Jared offers First Responders discounts.

How To Get The Jared First Responder Discount

The 10% belongs to military verification, so it isn’t yours to claim. Here’s the route that does work for a first responder:

  1. Sign in to Rakuten, or join if you’re new to it.
  2. Open Rakuten’s Jared Jewelers page and click Shop Now.
  3. Choose your piece in that same visit and check out as usual.
  4. Skip any coupon code that the cash back site doesn’t list, because TopCashback names outside codes as an exclusion.

TopCashback has a Jared page too, so if you already use it, go through that one. Rates differ by site and change often, so we don’t print them. Open both pages on the day you buy and take the higher number.

What The Cash Back Fine Print Says

Rakuten describes Jared as a place to find affordable diamond jewelry and engagement rings, and it says cash back isn’t available on Protection Plans, Gold Exchange, Gift Cards, All Pandora, Alex and Ani, and John Hardy products. Cash back is added to your Rakuten account within one week. TopCashback’s page lists a Jared gift card purchase or redemption, John Hardy products, Alex and Ani SKUs, Gold Exchange and credit applications as exclusions, along with any coupon code TopCashback doesn’t display. If you’re buying a ring with a protection plan, expect the plan not to count.

Where The Cash Back Check Came Up Short

Hoopla Doopla has a page with Jared’s name on it, but it lists other brands’ deals and no Jared offer, so we left it out. Fluz has a Jared page that’s its general virtual card page, not a Jared offer. MaxRebates sent us to its home page, which means it has no store page for Jared.

Using It On Sale Items

Jared’s discount page says nothing about sale items, and with no first responder offer there’s nothing to stack. Whatever price your cart shows is the price, and the cash back follows from that.
