We couldn’t find a first responder discount at Orkin. Its home page and FAQ say nothing about first responders, military or any other group rate, and the one FAQ answer about savings names seasonal offers and new customer discounts only. So there’s no badge to show and no code to claim.
Orkin’s home page lists pest control, termite control and home services, and it describes a mosquito service aimed at the places mosquitoes breed around your house. It also says the company is there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which suits anyone whose calendar runs on shifts.
How To Get The Orkin First Responder Discount
No first responder program turned up, so this is what we’d try, in order:
- Use Find My Branch on Orkin’s site to reach the branch that covers your address. The FAQ says to contact your local Orkin branch with questions about available promotions.
- Ask that branch whether it has any rate for first responders or public service workers. Nothing public says it does, and a branch can answer a question the national pages don’t.
- Ask what it’s running for new customers, and write down the price quoted before you agree to a plan.
If you end up paying full price and want something back, the route is a Fluz virtual card. Fluz’s virtual card is a general payment card that pays a percentage back at many stores, and its rate moves, so read what the card shows for this merchant before you count on it. Fluz has an Orkin page, but it’s for the general card and not an Orkin offer.
What The Pages Say
The FAQ’s answer to whether Orkin offers discounts or promotions says Orkin periodically offers them through seasonal offers and new customer discounts. It doesn’t mention first responders or any other group. It ends by pointing you to your local branch, so that’s where a group rate would have to come from.
When we read the home page, it advertised $50 off a first recurring service with code 50OFF. That’s a public promotion for anyone, it may not be on the page when you look, and the page doesn’t say whether it combines with anything else. The home page also promises off-schedule return visits and a 30-day money back guarantee.
Where We Looked For A Group Rate
Beyond the home page and FAQ, we checked the addresses a military or first responder page would normally use on orkin.com. They return a not-found page. Orkin has no ID.me store listing either.
What The Cash Back Check Found
Rakuten sent us to its general home page for Orkin, TopCashback sent us to a not-found page, and Active Junky and Hoopla Doopla had no Orkin page. MaxRebates answered with its own home page, which means it has no Orkin page under the names we tried. Fluz’s Orkin page describes the general Fluz virtual card, so it isn’t a store offer either.
