San Diego County is encouraging the public to take extra precautions against coronavirus as its prevalence rises. Police patrols are being increased and hotels are providing housing options for those without other options.
Equus Hotel Management operates hotels located near high traffic areas that can only be accessed via car. Participants agree to abide by a list of rules including not having guests and meeting weekly with a Housing Navigator to find permanent homes. The county’s contract with Equus will expire at the end of March and it is currently considering its renewal.
