Schlage doesn’t give first responders a discount, and nothing it publishes names a military, first responder or community program. There’s no verification step to complete and no code to look for. What you’ll find instead is a store with ordinary terms, which are worth knowing before you order a lock.
Schlage makes door locks: knobs, levers, deadbolts and handlesets, along with electronic and smart locks. Its home page lists the smart lineup as Schlage Sense Pro, Encode Plus, Encode, Encode Lever, Arrive and Connect, notes that the locks work with the Schlage Home app, and says Schlage offers 11 hardware finishes so you can find the perfect look for your whole house. Schlage is an Allegion company. If you come and go at odd hours, a keypad or app-controlled deadbolt is one of the upgrades worth pricing before you commit.
How To Get The Schlage First Responder Discount
There isn’t one to claim. The pages read for this post were Schlage’s home page, its support FAQs, its Shop Schlage orders, shipping and returns FAQ, its Terms of Purchase and its where-to-buy page, and none of them mentions military, first responders or any other group discount. The addresses a program would normally live at, /military-discount and /first-responder-discount, each return Schlage’s standard not-found page, the same one a made-up address gets. ID.me, GovX and VerifyPass, the services that carry most first responder offers, show no Schlage offer either.
If you buy from Schlage anyway, the one route to money back is a general-purpose card. Fluz offers a virtual card that works anywhere Mastercard or Visa is accepted, including online and in-store through Apple Pay or Google Pay. Fluz has no page for Schlage, so there’s no named Schlage offer, and what the card earns is Fluz’s general rate, which changes. Setting it up takes identity verification and a linked bank account, so decide whether that’s worth the trouble for a single purchase.
What Schlage Offers Every Buyer
Schlage’s shop FAQ says it offers free standard shipping in the US or 2-day shipping for an additional fee, and that shipping to Canada and Mexico isn’t available. Returns are the part to read closely. Schlage will accept return of products purchased directly from Schlage for a refund of the purchase price, less the original shipping and handling costs, as long as you ask no later than ninety days after shipment. The products have to come back in their original condition with the original packaging and documentation. No returns are accepted without a Schlage provided shipping label, so you email for one first, and refunds are processed within approximately 15 days of receipt.
Promotional codes do exist in the fine print. Schlage’s Terms of Purchase say codes may be offered from time to time in its sole discretion, are limited in nature, may expire or be discontinued without notice, and aren’t redeemable for cash. Schlage’s email sign-up promises product updates, promotions, style trends and security tips. Read the conditions on any code before you count on it.
If You’re Buying From A Retailer
Schlage’s where-to-buy page is titled Online & In-Store Retailers of Schlage Products, and it sends you to stores. A retailer’s own sales and programs belong to that retailer, and the ninety-day return window above covers only products bought directly from Schlage, so check the retailer’s return policy before you order.
