Shoe Carnival temporarily closed most stores but shifted its marketing spend online during the coronavirus pandemic, seeing online sales surge double-digits during this time.
At present, 82 percent of stores have reopened, and sales are on the uptick. Customers who purchased items online can return them free at any of Shoe Carnival’s retail locations or send them back for a $6 fee that will be deducted from their refund total. Shoe Carnival also offers free shipping promotions on online orders as well as the option to add coupon codes at checkout in order to reduce order total costs further.
Shoe Carnival provides a loyalty program that rewards frequent shoppers with benefits such as hassle-free returns without receipts, birthday bonuses and exclusive coupons. Members earn one point for every dollar spent; after reaching 200 points they earn a $10 reward certificate. In addition, their Shoe Perks app allows people to shop on-the-go while receiving notifications about offers, promotions and special sale events.
Shoe Carnival also sells shoes in over 3,000 retail stores nationwide, which you can locate by going online and selecting “Find Stores.” Plus, sign up for email and text alerts for discounts, promo codes and more – or select the “Pick Up In Store” option when adding items to your cart and choose where you would like your items collected!
