We couldn’t find a first responder discount for Lion Country Safari, and the park’s online ticket store wouldn’t load for our check, so we can’t say for certain that none exists. What we could read points one way: the park’s ticket page, FAQ and visitor page mention a weekday rate and group rates, and nothing about police, fire or EMS.
Lion Country Safari is at 2003 Lion Country Safari Road in Loxahatchee, Florida, and the park suggests allowing about 4 to 6 hours for a visit. Tickets can be bought online or at the ticket booths when you arrive, which is handy to know because the online store is the one place a first responder code could hide.
How To Get The Lion Country Safari First Responder Discount
No program turned up, so here’s the order that makes sense for a family planning a day out:
- Open the park’s ticket store yourself, since ours was blocked by a security check, and look for any wording about first responders, police, firefighters or EMS.
- If you can go on a weekday, look at the weekday value rate. The ticket page lists a weekday value rate for ages 10 and older that comes in under the regular rate, excluding select holiday periods and special events.
- Call the park before you drive and ask whether it has any rate for first responders. If one exists, that’s where you’d hear about it, and nothing public says it does.
- If you’re organizing a bigger outing, ask about group rates. The FAQ says the park offers special rates for school, scout, tour and community or non-profit groups.
- Compare whatever you’re quoted with the regular price for your day before you pay.
If you end up paying full price and want something back, the one route to money back is a Fluz virtual card, a general-purpose card that earns cash back on whatever you pay with it. Fluz has no Lion Country Safari page, so this is a general card and not a park offer, and its rate moves.
What We Could Read
The ticket page, the FAQ and the plan-your-visit page all loaded, and none of them mentions a first responder discount. The ticket page lists two kinds of pricing: the regular rate and the weekday value rate. The FAQ adds group rates and says the annual pass program has reached capacity, so passes are sold out for now.
One practical note before you go: the FAQ says it’s a cashless park that takes only card payments and mobile pay. A badge-and-cash plan at the booth won’t work, so bring a card.
What We Couldn’t Read
The park sells online tickets through a separate ticket store, and that store answered our automated check with a “Just a moment” security page. That’s why this post says unconfirmed and not unavailable. A discount code or special offer could live behind that page, so it’s worth opening in your own browser. We also couldn’t find an ID.me listing for the park, and we didn’t read GovX’s brand pages.
What The Cash Back Check Found
Fluz has no Lion Country Safari page, Rakuten returns its generic homepage for Lion Country Safari, and TopCashback, Active Junky and Hoopla Doopla return not-found pages. MaxRebates’ search for Lion Country Safari returns no store, though MaxRebates serves its home page for any store name it doesn’t carry, so that only rules out the names we tried. Price.com’s store list has no Lion Country Safari page either. With no named cash back offer at the sites checked, this page is filed as unavailable.
