ID.me lists 10% off San Diego Zoo tickets for first responders. The offer comes from ID.me’s San Diego Zoo store page, and the zoo’s own planning pages we read don’t mention a first responder discount, so treat the 10% as something to confirm in your cart before you pay.
The San Diego Zoo is at 2920 Zoo Drive in San Diego. Its Safari Park is a separate park: the zoo calls it the sister park to the northeast in Escondido, 35 miles away. ID.me’s listing is for the San Diego Zoo, and it doesn’t say whether the Safari Park is included, so don’t assume it is.
How To Get The San Diego Zoo First Responder Discount
- Open ID.me’s San Diego Zoo store page using the button below.
- Sign in to ID.me, or make a free account, and verify as a first responder.
- Follow ID.me’s link to the zoo’s ticket store and choose your visit.
- Look at the total before you pay. The listing says 10% and nothing else, so the cart is where you find out which tickets it applies to.
ID.me’s listing doesn’t print any limits, blackout dates or ticket caps. It also warns that deals can change at any time based on the store, which is the reason to read the cart instead of trusting the headline number.
What ID.me’s Listing Means
ID.me prints the same 10% line for every group it lists, military, nurses, first responders, teachers and the rest. So this is a general community listing, not an offer the zoo wrote for police, fire and EMS. It does name first responders and gives a figure, and that’s what this page rests on. ID.me’s own responder page says San Diego Zoo has a first responders discount and/or cash back offer through ID.me Shop.
The zoo’s plan-your-visit page, which is where the address and hours live, doesn’t describe a first responder rate. If a ticket agent asks what the discount is, point them to the ID.me link you came through.
Before You Book A Day
Zoo days run long, and the page lists daily hours, so pick the date first and then price the ticket. If you’re also thinking about the Safari Park, price it as a separate visit and check its own ticket page for any discount.
