Margaritaville Lake Resort will officially welcome its inaugural overnight guests this Friday when it opens for business on 186-acres in Montgomery county formerly occupied by La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa. Featuring tiki huts, hammocks and an eye-catching yellow LandShark chair reminiscent of Jimmy Buffett, guests are greeted with 335 luxury suites overlooking Lake Conroe.
Five restaurants provide guests with a selection of dining and beverage offerings, plus there’s boating on Lake Erie and multiple marinas nearby, plus hiking. In addition, there are golfing opportunities and full service spa services.
Traveling on government business? The resort provides special rates to active and veteran military, first responders and frontline medical personnel based on federal per diem rates for that region, which can be reserved by directly contacting them.
