Peloton fitness equipment maker provides first responders with special discounted pricing on its fitness bikes (Bike+ and Tread). Furthermore, Peloton also provides financing options if they can’t pay the full amount upfront.
The Peloton bike is an exercise bike designed to allow users to follow along with live and on-demand workouts led by professional instructors, complete with a touchscreen display showing instructor, other users, and riders’ performance metrics.
Peloton bike membership costs $39 monthly; however, healthcare workers, military personnel, first responders and educators can save money with discounted membership plans by qualifying via VerifyPass portal. To be eligible, simply present proof that you work in one of these fields to qualify.
First responders include health industry workers such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, veterinarians (recently added), firefighters EMTs or law enforcement officers.
Self-employed or business owners who qualify may also take advantage of this discount, showing documentation such as membership cards or payslips as proof of eligibility.
This offer applies to new and existing digital members who fit one of four categories: teachers, healthcare workers, military members or first responders. Unfortunately it does not apply to students and cannot be combined with any other discounts or promos.
To take advantage of Peloton’s first responder discount, first create an account on their website and submit a photo of either your government ID or military ID for authentication purposes. After you are authenticated, take advantage of reduced pricing on Bike, Bike+ or Tread subscriptions.
