Getting the Best Deals at Target
The biggest savings at Target come with their sales events, such as Target Deal Days and Prime Day. These sales feature a wide range of merchandise, including clothing, home goods, beauty products and electronics.
Periodically, Target will have unadvertised markdowns on select items. These can be marked down to 15% or more off, according to Target spokeswoman Katie Palmer.
These markdowns might be longer than a week, she said. The retailer also offers price match guarantees from many online retailers.
Other ways to save at Target are by using RED cards and coupons. They also have gift card promotions and a program called Shop Your Way Rewards, which lets you earn points on purchases to redeem for discounts on future purchases.
Tuft & Needle: The mattress retailer has a special discount for firefighters, police officers and other emergency responders. It uses a dedicated landing page and digital verification to ensure that only eligible customers get the savings.
To claim the discount, eligible customers must provide their name and military ID or other form of identification. The store will verify their identity with a third-party verification service.
