Toyota and Acura Offer a First Responder Discount

First responders and healthcare professionals provide vital services that protect our health and safety every day, but during the Coronavirus pandemic their heroic acts were particularly evident. From nightly applause to mask donations, our community showed them our appreciation. Now automakers are playing their part by offering special incentives and discounts for those who serve as the backbone of society.

To qualify for a first responder discount, individuals typically need to work in any of the following occupations: police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses and nurse aides as well as pharmacy workers and delivery drivers. Some manufacturers even extend this program to spouses of those employed within these occupations and more recently many manufacturers have even expanded eligibility even further by opening up eligibility to include workers at hospitals or emergency service facilities.

Acura offers select first responders and healthcare professionals a $1,000 rebate when financing or leasing any eligible 20MY model (excluding NSX and PMC models ) through Acura Financial Services; while Toyota gives active duty military members within two years of discharge a $500 rebate.

As always, check with your local dealership to see what offers are available in your area and take advantage of any cashback or zero percent APR offers that may be available as well as zero percent APR plans that may be offered.
