- Keep the service active for at least 60 days. Rakuten waits for Straight Talk to confirm the activation and 60 days of continuous service.
- Read the current cash back figure on Rakuten’s Straight Talk page before you sign up, since it changes.
- Check your total before you place your order.
When The Cash Back Arrives
Rakuten says cash back is only available on new activations, so an existing Straight Talk line doesn’t earn it. After Straight Talk confirms you’ve kept the service continuously for at least 60 days, Rakuten adds the cash back to your account within one week.
Multi-Line Savings
Straight Talk lets you keep up to 5 lines on a single plan. The first line is regular price. The 2nd line is $15 off, the 3rd is $45 off, the 4th is $80 off and the 5th is $100 off. Those savings apply to Silver Unlimited, Gold Unlimited and Platinum Unlimited. A line that gets a multi-line discount can be on Auto Pay, but it doesn’t get the Auto Pay discount on top, so the two don’t stack. If your household is a couple of shift workers and a teenager or two, that’s the discount to price out before you pick plans.
