Whole-Home Security Systems
SimpliSafe: 50% Off Any New System
SimpliSafe takes 50% off any new system for first responders, and it names police, fire and EMT. Open SimpliSafe’s Protectors page, pick the first responder option, and verify through VerifyPass. You get a one-time code to use at checkout on SimpliSafe.com. The code works once and is good for one year. It can’t be combined with other offers, and it doesn’t apply to an order you’ve already placed.
Guardian Protection: 50% Off A Package Plus Free Monitoring
Guardian Protection offers military personnel, firefighters and police officers 50% off a home security package plus three months of free monitoring. Guardian doesn’t name EMS, so paramedics and EMTs should ask before they count on it. To qualify, you buy the $199 starter package, which comes with a control panel, a motion detector, four door and window sensors and one smoke, heat, carbon monoxide or flood sensor, and you sign a monitoring agreement for at least 60 months at $49.99 a month or more. Fill in the form on Guardian’s page, a Security Expert calls, and you show proof that you’re serving. The offer runs through 12/31/26, can’t be combined with other offers, and any extra equipment is paid in full.
Brinks Home: 30% Off Equipment, Up To $500
Brinks Home takes 30% off equipment, up to a $500 discount, plus free professional installation for first responders. Brinks says only “first responders” and doesn’t list jobs, so you find out whether your role fits when you call. Call 972.532.7065 or send your information on Brinks’s page, and a security consultant reaches out. The deal is for new residential customers with an equipment purchase of $499 or more, and it comes with a monitoring contract of at least 36 months starting at $49.99 a month. It doesn’t work on online orders or with financing, and it can’t be combined with other offers.
Cove: An Extra 5% Off Equipment
Cove takes an extra 5% off equipment pricing for first responders and medical staff, on top of its current sale pricing. Cove says “all first responders” and doesn’t list jobs, so you find out whether your role fits when you verify. Verify your occupation through ID.me, build your system on Cove’s site, and the discount comes off before checkout. Security cameras aren’t part of the offer.
Cameras, Doorbells And Smart Devices
Ring: 20% Off Ring Products
Ring takes 20% off Ring products for first responders, listed as police, fire and EMT, through a one-time VerifyPass code. Open Ring’s Give-Back page, click Get Code and sign in to VerifyPass. After you verify, you get a code to use at checkout. Bundles and offers are excluded, and you can get one code every 24 hours.
Arlo: 15% Off Full And Sale Priced Products
Arlo takes 15% off full and sale priced products for first responders, verified through ID.me at checkout. Arlo’s terms list first responders along with nurses, teachers, military, government workers and students and don’t define the jobs, so you find out whether your role fits when you verify. Accessories and bundles are excluded, the discount doesn’t stack with other promotions, and it’s limited to one order every 90 days.
Google Nest And Google Store: 10% Off
Google takes 10% off at the Google Store for verified first responders, through a one-time code. Google lists “first responders” as a group and doesn’t define who counts, so you find out whether your role fits when you verify. Check your status with ID.me, then use the code at store.google.com or at a physical Google Store. It works on any product except a list that includes Nest Mini, Google Home Premium, professional installation and Pixel Care+.
Reolink: Up To 10% Off Through GovX
Reolink’s first responder discount runs through GovX, which lists up to 10% off for current and former military, first responders and law enforcement. Sign up for GovX, verify, and shop Reolink from the GovX page. GovX gives only the top rate, so check the price after you verify and before you pay.
Lockly: $40 Off Orders Of $250 Or More
Lockly takes $40 off an order of $250 or more on regular priced smart devices, verified through ID.me. Lockly’s page says “first responder” and doesn’t list jobs, so you find out whether your role fits when you verify. Click the verify button on Lockly’s page or at checkout, finish with ID.me, and the discount applies to eligible purchases.
Q&A
Q: Which home security discounts name EMTs and paramedics?
A: SimpliSafe and Ring name EMT. Guardian names firefighters and police officers but not EMS, so ask before you count on it. Brinks, Cove, Arlo, Google, Reolink and Lockly say “first responders” and don’t list jobs.
Q: Do I have to sign a monitoring contract?
A: At Guardian and Brinks, yes. Guardian’s agreement runs at least 60 months at $49.99 a month or more, and Brinks’s runs at least 36 months starting at $49.99 a month.
Q: Which of these can I claim online?
A: SimpliSafe, Ring, Arlo, Google, Cove, Lockly and Reolink all verify online. Guardian and Brinks start with a form or a phone call, and Brinks doesn’t take online orders for this offer.
Q: Can I combine these with a sale or another code?
A: No at SimpliSafe, Guardian, Brinks and Arlo: each says the offer can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. Ring excludes bundles and offers.
Q: What about ADT and Vivint?
A: Neither has a first responder discount we can confirm. ID.me says it isn’t aware of one at either, so ask the company directly before you count on a price. Our ADT and Vivint pages cover what we found.
